1983 Yamaha Other on 2040-motos
Yamaha Other tech info
Yamaha Other description
I have for sale 3 Yamaha Venture's. The blue one is a 1984 and the other
two are 1983's, one's a Royale. I have a title for the blue one and the one that is
taken apart. The maroon one is in really nice shape showing 36k miles,
the blue one show's only 5042 miles but looks like it sat for a period
where it was damp, The one taken apart shows 36k. I got 8 motorcycle's
at an estate sale yesterday and I really need the room. There is a lot
of money to be made parting these out, or you have plenty of parts to
make a really nice one for yourself with one of the frames that has a
title. I am starting the bidding at 1300.00 for all three, that's only $430.00 a bike, a lot of "meat left on the bone" for someone that
wants to part them out.

Wed, 15 Sep 2010This picture of me chasing Foggy on the Daytona banking in 1991 brought back some bitter sweet memories recently. I did half a season as his team mate on the Silkolene RC30s before scurrying off to Japan to ride a factory Yamaha Superbike. I’ve never been a quitter but I felt the team that year was gear stretched running two riders so it was a case of last in first out.
Yamaha Teases New Supersport Reveal for Nov. 3 + Video
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Yamaha fans expecting to hear big news from the Tuning Fork brand at Intermot may be a bit disappointed the Cologne show only brought us a refreshed XJR1300, the MT-07 Moto Cage stunt variant and a futuristic three-wheeled concept model. The first two aren’t likely to come to North America and the third might never see production. But fear not, as while most of the motorcycle world was focused on Intermot, Yamaha released a video teasing a “new era” supersport announcement for Nov.
