Yamaha Other tech info
Yamaha Other description
I acquired this bike from the original owners 28 year old daughter who had registered and insured the bike and used it for local in town riding. She had the bike, serviced after it had sat for over 20 years, at the local dealer and used the bike for 1 and a half years and upgraded to a bigger bike. In the 1.5 years she told me she put over 1000 trouble free miles on it.
The bike has original 1904 miles and it shows well.
Has always been indoors, and was originally won at a raffle at the local Yamaha dealer in 1983.
Seems to be all original with the exception of the battery.
Has one small dent in tank, no paint damage, , some nicks and scratches her and there to be expected of a 33 year old motorcycle.
Not restored, a true daily rider, super economical rare bike. Top speed around 60 the way it is geared.
Motor is interchangeable with the ysr50 yamaha so parts are readily available.
Last registered and inspected in 2015.
Current and transferable NYS Title.
Email with any questions or to view BEFORE auction ends.
Bike is sold as is because of age, no warranty expressed or implied.

Yamaha recently announced it is adopting a new slogan to go with its “New Medium-Term Management Plan” for 2013-2015: “Yamaha Revs Your Heart“. The new slogan connects two key themes for Yamaha, the sound of its engines racing and the passion its products instills in its customers. To introduce its new brand slogan, Yamaha Motor produced a video featuring thousands of cascading dominoes.Tue, 02 Sep 2014
More returning Yamahas for 2015: Yamaha’s “go anywhere, do anything” Zuma line is iconic in the scooter world, and they are back in the lineup for 2015. Known for their peppy engines, durability, large underseat storage, unique headlight designs, powerful front rotors, and aggressive fat knobby tires, the Zuma scooter is offered in three different configurations for 2015, based on style and engine displacement. The race inspired Zuma 50FX and the bold and aggressive designed Zuma 50F are equipped with a low maintenance, fuel injected 49cc four-stroke engine that gets an incredible 132mpg.Mon, 28 Feb 2011
As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment. I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
