Yamaha RD400C, 1976, adult owned and professionally maintained, 14,903 miles, garage kept, has not been tagged in many years. For the past 4 years, it has only been ridden in my neighborhood. Totally stock except for pipes, seat and kickstand. This bike comes with the original Yamaha Owner's Manual, two Yamaha service manuals, original kickstand, original chrome exhaust and Yamaha tool kit. The bike has a small amount of surface rust which can be easily removed with fine sandpaper. The tank has a tiny paint chip that can be seen when the bike is in direct sunlight. The chrome fenders have minor pitting. Please see pictures. Cranks first or second kick, when properly choked. Please ask questions prior to bidding. This bike is going up in value, fast. Fri, 23 Aug 2013Katsuyuki Nakasuga, the surprise podium finisher at last year’s MotoGP finale in Valencia, will have the chance to catch lightning in a bottle once again, after being granted a wild card entry to the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi. Nakasuga shocked the racing world with a second-place finish at the Valencian Grand Prix last November as an injury replacement for then-Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies. Nakasuga made the cagey decision to run slick tires in the wet race.

Thu, 10 Sep 2009You’ll realize how cheesy that headline is after watching the pretty rad video that Yamaha has released. Yamaha’s new motocross bike has taken a radical new approach. The engine is backwards. Yamaha’s reason for doing this is to shift the heavy end of the motor more to the center of the motorcycle to make it more agile and responsive. Slanting the cylinder also made for a straighter pathway for the air intake at the front of the bike.
Isle of Man TT 2013: Dainese Superbike Race Results
Mon, 03 Jun 2013It was delayed by a day but the Isle of Man TT’s Dainese Superbike race finally went underway Sunday. Originally scheduled to open the 2013 Isle of Man TT, the race was pushed back a day because poor weather earlier in the week prevented proper practice and qualifying. Even then, the Superbike race was delayed 45 minutes from its rescheduled start time due to a traffic accident.
