Selling my nicely modded 2012 Yamaha FZ1 with only 2200 miles on her. I have recently developed some health issues which makes it very painful to ride motorcycles at all. I purchased this bike brand new and have put some nice mods on her. Those include... Scorpion Carbon fiber slip on exhaust, the handlebar mod, Graves frame sliders, double bubble windscreen, roll-a-click adjustable levers, and more. This bike is still virtually new and comes with the Yamaha Extended Service (YES) warranty with 2 years left on it. If you have any questions please call 317-209-7668. US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
King Kenny Roberts at Laguna Seca
Tue, 05 Jul 2011Fans of “King” Kenny Roberts will be in for a treat as the three-time World Champion will ride not once, not twice but three times at Laguna Seca during the 2011 U.S. Grand Prix, July 22-24. As previously announced, Roberts would join Eddie Lawson and about 200 fans in riding parade laps of the Monterrey, Calif., circuit on the Friday, July 22.
Hayes to Race in Valencia GP for Injured Colin Edwards
Mon, 31 Oct 2011Josh Hayes will make his MotoGP racing debut at the Nov. 6 Valencia Grand Prix in Spain as an injury replacement for fellow American Colin Edwards. Already set to test the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 M1 after the season-ending race, Hayes was a logical choice to ride in Edwards’ place.
