Triumph Tiger description

2011 Triumph Tiger 800 XC, TONS of Accessories, LOW Miles!Triumph's Tiger 800XC helped bring Adventure-touring mainstream with it's upright seating position, high ground clearance, and more-than-capable 3-cylinder power plant. Powered by Triumph's 799cc inline 3-cylinder engine that delivers an excellent blend of twin-cylinder torque and inline 4-cylinder top-end power, the Tiger 800 feels at home on the interstate or on gravel back roads. The upright seating position with wide handlebars and relaxed foot position make the ride comfortable yet allow for quick turn in and agile handling. This particular Tiger 800 is the XC model, which has spoked 19 and 21 wheels, and has a higher front fender for off-road use. The previous owner added a LOT of accessories to make this Tiger a true Adventure Tourer. These accessories inclue Triumph's accessory headlight protector, handguards, adjustable brake and clutch levers, tank protector, engine dresser bars, aluminum skid plate, center stand, removable hard bags, Arrow slip-on exhaust, and a GPS mount. With just over 1,100 miles on the odometer, this Tiger is essentially new, as it's in excellent condition with no noticeable cosmetic issues. Rain Forces Triumph Castrol Rocket Team To Look To Bonneville 2015

Tue, 30 Sep 2014

The past two weekends have produced more than three inches of rain and sad news for Bonneville land speed racing fans.Triumph has released it official statement regarding the announcement by Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout that the course will not be ready for its Triumph Castrol Rocket streamliner and others to make a 2014 FIM legal attempt at 400mph. This is not what you want to see the week before racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Photo courtesy Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout (landspeedevents.com) Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout streamliner runs were rescheduled for this weekend, October 4–5, after wet conditions earlier in the month prevented the runs on the long course required to run at these speeds.

2015 Triumph 250 Preview

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

With all the new motorcycles Triumph presented earlier this month at the 2013 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, we were hoping to see the company’s new 250cc models. Unfortunately, the new small-displacement Triumph models (which made our list of Top 10 Motorcycles to Watch For at EICMA) were not yet ready to be revealed, though Triumph did offer us a glimpse of what to expect, with a sketch of its 250 sportbike. At Milan, the company referred to the sportbike as “Triumph’s New 250″, though it will get a proper name when it’s officially, presented as a 2015 model, likely at next year’s EICMA show or at Intermot in Cologne, Germany.
