Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results

Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.

"The driving force behind the project," says Lindsay, "Is to showcase some of the amazing expertise that exists in the British motorcycle industry." Enigma is being designed as a sharp-handling road bike with all-day comfort as one of the key goals.

2013 Triumph Trophy Spy Photos

Spanish magazine Motociclismo has acquired photos of what it says will be a new 2013 Triumph Trophy 1200 sport-tourer. According to Motociclismo, the 2013 Triumph Trophy 1200 uses many of the same components as the recently launched Triumph Tiger Explorer, including its 1215cc inline Triple engine and shaft drive. The Trophy 1200 will likely also get traction control and ABS like the Tiger Explorer, as well as touring-oriented niceties such as an adjustable windscreen, heated grips, panniers and cruise control.
