THIS AUCTION IS FOR 1962 TRIUMPH T100SC FRESH OUT OF DECADES OF STORAGE IN BARN IN UPSTATE NY . THESE ARE VERY HARD TO FIND BIKES WITH MANY USABLE PARTS. I AM NOT A TRIUMPH EXPERT SO IF AN EXPERT WOULD LIKE TO AD INFORMATION I WILL LIST IT WITH AUCTION. PLEASE LOOK OVER THE SEVERAL PICTURES AND SEE WHAT IS THERE. THE ROCKER BOXES ARE MISSING AND A FEW OTHER PARTS. Craig Vetter Grand Marshall for 2012 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days
Tue, 22 May 2012PICKERINGTON, Ohio — AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame member and noted designer Craig Vetter — whose contributions to motorcycling range from the iconic Windjammer fairings and the Triumph X-75 Hurricane to the Mystery Ship limited-production high-performance motorcycles and a number of high-profile motorcycle fuel-economy contests — will be honored as this year’s grand marshal at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days featuring Rockers and Mods, July 20-22, at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. Vetter has been a member of the American Motorcyclist Association and a designer since 1965, and his varied background gives him a unique alliance to both the Rockers and Mods motorcycle subcultures. His design projects over the years have involved café racers — the motorcycles of choice for Rockers — and scooters, which are favored by Mods.
Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
