2014 Triumph Street Triple R ABS:

~ As MCN puts it "Superb handling, light steering, masses of feel for grip and eye-popping brakes sum-up the Street Triple R’s. It’s not just better than its rivals, it’s one of the best-handling bikes you can buy."

One thing they forgot...POWER - 105HP at 370LBS DRY!

The only difference between right now and when I rode this bike out of the dealer is that it is broken in! Gosh, those were a long 800 or so miles before I could really see what this machine is made of. All I can say is that I will miss being able to go from comfortably cruising along at a refined speed and then...whooosh hit the throttle and you're riding motoGP.

This bike runs perfectly smooth, sounds thrilling, and is comfortable and refined to ride. It's been regularly maintained and serviced at the dealer only. I'v also ridden it regularly throughout its whole life (unfortunately only about an hour each week, hence the low miles), It truly great for newer riders and seasoned track enthusiasts.

Why am I selling it? ...because I've decided that I must add some dirt into my life and need an adventure tourer.

Includes an option of 3 seats: the custom Corbin seat pictured, stock triumph seat, triumph "high comfort" accessory seat. (Multiple seats are available for at reduced cost, arranged after purchase). Also included is a Evotech tail tidy, Techspec tank pads, and color matched accessory belly pan, removable seat cowl, and fly screen (not installed or pictured).

Don't hesitate to ask questions or to arrange a time to come see it in person (Maybe a test ride if you can provide collateral). I have bought and sold multiple motorcycles on ebay as well as countless other items, I am an experienced and trusted seller.

2013 Triumph Tiger Sport Announced

Thu, 10 Jan 2013

Triumph revealed a new version of its 1050cc Tiger named the Tiger Sport. Triumph currently lists this new Tiger Sport beside its Tiger 1050 on the Triumph website’s 2013 offerings but the new model appears to be a replacement for the previous model which has been relatively unchanged since its introduction in 2007. Officially unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show, the 2013 Triumph Tiger Sport receives new body panels, tail and windscreen but perhaps the most notable design change is the new single-sided swingarm which better shows off the black cast aluminum alloy multi-spoke rear wheel.

Recall for 2011-2012 Triumph Tiger 800 and 800XC for Engine Management Software

Thu, 25 Aug 2011

Triumph issued a recall for the 2011 and 2012 Tiger 800 and 800XC adventure tourers due to a bug in the engine management software. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Triumph Tigers’ 800cc Triple engine may stall during deceleration. Riders may also notice lower RPMs indicated on the tachometer at idle.

Twin-Engined Triumph Rocket Streamliner To Challenge Motorcycle Land-Speed Record At Bonneville

Thu, 29 Aug 2013

The 1,000-horsepower Castrol Rocket is currently undergoing testing for its upcoming assault on the land speed record of 376.156 mph, set in 2010, by Rocky Robinson with the Ack Attack streamliner. The goal: a 400-mph-plus record-breaking run. The 25-foot long x 2-foot wide x 3-foot high streamliner was constructed in cooperation by Hot Rod Conspiracy and Carpenter Racing and will compete in the Division C (Streamlined) – Type V (5) Spark Ignition, Over 2,000cc to 3,000cc class. Powering the Rocket are two heavily modified Triumph Rocket III engines. Each Carpenter Racing built engine was reduced from 2,294cc to 1,485cc (2,970cc total) to meet the 3,000cc maximum total displacement class rule requirement. While piston size remains the same stock 4-inch bore, stroke was reduced from 3.75 inches to 2.4 inches and redline increased from 5,750 rpm to 9,000+ rpm. There’s also one Garrett GT2876R ball bearing, liquid-cooled turbocharger per engine.
