Taxes and Registration fees: Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered.
Title Information: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.
Shipping & Delivery:
1. All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility. Motorcycles of Dulles will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage!
2. Licensed Carriers are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom. All shipping arrangements are provided by Motorcycles of Dulles as a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the shipper, not with Motorcycles of Dulles.
3. The amount of time it takes for delivery is dependent on the carrier, but is generally 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the shipper for an Estimate Time of Arrival to be sure.
Finalizing your Purchase:
1. Terms of Sale Overview: As this motorcycle is also for sale in our showroom, we reserve the right to end this listing at anytime should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. The following terms of sale apply to all of our eBay motorcycle listings. All motorcycle sales are subject to a $384.00 processing fee and a minimal local gross receipts tax. (Usually between $8 and $20) The winning bidder must contact us immediately at auction end to provide appropriate contact information. If outside of business hours, this can be done via email through the eBay listing. I should have filed this blog an hour earlier but I became distracted by the human circus that is the Jeremy Kyle show. It’s a shameful admission, I know, but I’m a firm believer in the policy of honesty being the best. Enjoying the luxury of working from home, I was only making myself a bacon sandwich with the TV on in the background when excited cries of ‘Freak, Freak!’ from Mrs MF drew my attention to this (see pic).

Deus Ex Machina, the surf/moto shop known for creating throwback, one-of-a-kind motorcycles, has released its latest work of art, the TT800. Paying tribute to the highly successful Triumph factory TT machines from the mid-1960s, Deus’ expert builder, Michael Woolaway, created the TT800 for a customer requesting a new, old Triumph. It sources a Kawasaki W650 bored out to 800cc with CR carbs, a custom TT inspired exhaust, custom chromoly racing frame, re-valved Öhlins forks, and a custom gusseted swing arm for more stability. A Beringer six-piston caliper front brake provides stopping power.

CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips. Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment. Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions. Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
