SUZUKI BURGMAN AN650

Up for your riding pleasure is this 2005 Burgman 650 with 10,524 miles. Adult owned, 50-60 year old riders only, it has therefore not been abused, you can tell that by the fact that the exhaust has not been discolored from extreme heat. Bought this for my son to ride back and forth to work locally and he is used to a smaller scooter, decided this is way too fast and large for his needs, 5 miles back and forth to work. 

This an excellent bike having been ridden at leisure for the last 8 years. This has been garaged its entire life and maintained more than required in that it has had the engine, transmission and final drive fluids changed again this year, all synthetic, and has very good fresher tires. So it is ready to take on a trip with no concerns. 

This scooter will come with an additional matching blue paint "BESTEM" T-box with passenger backrest pad. It has a brake light built in and is already wired to the bike. (Mounting bracket included). 

The title is in my possession and clear and recently passed Missouri state inspection. 


This is one time that we are making exception and must state that this is locally for sale and therefore could be removed prematurely if a local buyer purchases it.

ANOTHER CRACKING BIT of vintage racing footage, this time featuring multiple motorcycle world champion Phil Read on the awesome-sounding MV Agusta 500-4.The footage is from the 1974 movie 'The Iron Horse' made by Frenchman Pierre-William Glenn.Read’s 1974 500cc World Championship victory was the last year a four-stroke won the world title before the advent of the MotoGP class in 2002. Giacomo Agostini won the crown from Yamaha in 1975, followed by Suzuki-mounted Barry Sheene in '76 and '77. The footage is bloody good, considering the camera technology of the day.

V-Strom 1050XT gets replaced by a more capable off-road variant Suzuki announced updates for the V-Strom 1050, as well as a new off-road oriented version for 2023. The new 2023 Suzuki V-Strom 1050DE replaces the 1050XT model, and adds new features to make it a more capable off-road machine such as a 21-inch front wheel, longer-stroke suspension, and a larger aluminum bash plate. Both models remain powered by a 1037cc V-Twin engine, but for 2023, Suzuki introduced new hollow sodium-filled exhaust valves, claiming reduced temperature in the combustion chamber, and thus improved efficiency and durability.
