Been sitting for 10 years, took it home, cleaned all the carbs, new petcock kit, new/used front brake and pads, new starter motor but starter clutch needs work.. Compression 90lbs each cyl. All electrics work, lights, switches, turn signals, brakes, hi lo beam.etc. This starts and runs after a few kicks, Goes like a screaming flash, all carbs running good, need to be synched. Tires are kinda dry rotted. Injector pump work well for the oil. All areas need to be painted Chrome rims are good for age as is the rest of the chrome front fender and rear. or just drive it. NO TITLE bill of sale only. Get title in home state, in Pa takes 1 month and is about $100.00 in fees. Rare bike, very fast and desirable. I have lost interest. McGuinness is second on the all-time Isle of Man TT wins list behind the late Joey Dunlop who has 26. McGuinness was aided by two very quick and efficient pit stops by his crew.
MotoGP to Re-Visit Rookie Rule
Tue, 19 Jun 2012MotoGP organizers are re-opening discussion for the series’ rookie rule which prevents new riders from entering the series with factory teams. Introduced following the 2009 MotoGP season, the rule was designed to give satellite teams the chance to field young up-and-coming talents they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to sign. The theory was the rule would protect the satellite teams and spread out the talent pool.
