The last true superbike, the GSXR 1000 K6 - look it up, the next year around 14 lbs of weight was added due to new emissions regs, this is the last of the truly feather weights but with tons of power! Bike is stock with only exceptions being a TRE mod and K&N air filter. Just changed oil/filter about 3 months ago (full synthetic amsoil/k&n filter), bike always garaged or inside my house. Only one minor flaw, about a 1" crack on right side fairing (not dropped, something bumped it). Own the last true Superbike and it's ready to make mods of your own to bring even more out of it! Provisional 2012 World Superbike Championship Entry List Released
Wed, 18 Jan 2012The International Motorcycling Federation has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 World Superbike Championship. The preliminary list includes 24 entries representing six manufacturers: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Noticeably absent is Yamaha which announced last summer it would pull out of WSBK racing.
Suzuki announces new Hayabusa hyperbike generation

The bike has been produced since 1999 and is clearly not going to rest - the new "Busa" will take into account the disadvantages of modern motorcycles and get smarter. The company President Toshihiro Suzuki stirred up the public, saying that the new motorcycle will appear at the end of next year.
