Up For sale is a Very clean 04 Gsxr 1000. Never stunted or raced. Motor is stock. Tasteful mods limited to Marchesini wheels, with 520 chain conversion. New CBR1000rr front calipers w new pads. Penske fully adjustable rear shock, Race Tech fully revalved front fork w new springs. I do have 1 inch lower footpegs on it and fully adjustable handlebars on it. Can include stock stuff if wanted. Has a taller sport touring windscreen on it. Has a newer gsxr model stock titanium pipe on it that looks great and is nice and quiet. Wheels and fork/shock mods alone were $4k+. Willing to sell with stock wheels and rear shock for less. Just turned 30k miles but previous owner rode back & forth to army base long distances. Almost all highway miles. Engine runs VERY well. Bike runs and handles exceptionally well.

McGuinness had recorded third-place finishes at the Superbike, Superstock and the second Supersport TT races earlier in the week, but the active leader in Isle of Man TT wins was stuck at 19 wins all week. That finally changed and the Honda TT Legends racer finally earned win #20 in the final race of this year’s event, the Senior TT.

Fri, 05 Aug 2011Suzuki’s motorcycle business saw a profit for the first time in 11 quarters despite selling 21.0% fewer motorcycles. In the quarter ended June 30, 2011, Suzuki saw an operating income of 300 million yen (US$3.8 million), compared to a loss of 1.8 billion yen (US$22.9 million) reported in the same quarter of 2010. Suzuki netted 75.4 billion yen (US$961.5 million) in motorcycle sales over the quarter, a year-on-year increase of 8.0% from 69.8 billion yen (US$890.0 million) in 2010.
