Built by the book to be certified by any race officials in any class. Starting from the front end to rear. New Dunlop race slicks, 2007 gsxr 750 forks and triple tree, 2009 gsxr 600 master cylinder, gsxr 750 calipers, ebc HH race pads, EVERYTHNG safety wired, New gsxr front wheel, neck bearings 90degree valve stems. Woodcraft ignition key removal, wire harness rewired for light, ignition and ignition retard removal. NO KEY REQUIRED!!! all starting controls on handle switch. Front nose/ windscreen bracket is adjustable for wind flow control. Ram Air system rebuilt. New Galfer Stainless race brake lines. New GPR steering Dampener, New clutch cable, Engine case covers have been strengthened using 1/4" aluminum plates welded to outer covers, kickstand removed. New composite Superbike body with undertail, superbike foam pad seat, New PPG satin on body with competition blue frame and swingarm. Oil plug, filter, filler cap, coolant lines safety wired coolant replaced with Race approved additives, 520 renthal chain and sprocket conversion. New battery, wire harness relocated. 2004 rear swingarm and caliper with HH race pads. Rear brake safety wired. Suspension tuned to 180lb rider. New tire warmers, front and rear race stands. Bike built this year. Bike has bill of sale from when I purchased it. Never registered being it was built to be a race bike. Kevin Schwantz Once Again Wearing RS Taichi
Mon, 07 Apr 2014It’s official – Kevin Schwantz will return to his early years of wearing RS Taichi. While Schwantz wore RS Taichi gear during several of his memorable seasons in the 500cc class, his partnership and success with Taichi apparel all started with his victory at the 1988 Daytona 200. And now that Schwantz and the Circuit of the Americas have settled their differences, the 1993 world champ took to the track in RS Taichi leathers again for the first time recently at the Circuit of The Americas media day, as newly appointed motorcycle ambassador for the circuit.
Suzuki Confirms MotoGP Departure – Hope of 2014 Return
Fri, 18 Nov 2011As expected, Suzuki has officially announced its withdrawal from MotoGP racing, though the Japanese manufacturer says it plans to return to the world championship in 2014. Suzuki cites the recession, the value of the Japanese Yen and a series of natural disasters as reasons for suspending its MotoGP program for at least two years. Reports of Suzuki’s withdrawal began circulating earlier this week with some staff members reportedly receiving notice late last week, but signs of Suzuki’s impending withdrawal have been around for over a year.
Kevin Schwantz Tests Suzuki MotoGP Bike at COTA
Thu, 17 Apr 2014Former World Champion and Texas native Kevin Schwantz joined the Suzuki MotoGP team at Circuit of the Americas to test its new racebike. Schwantz, who won the 1993 500cc World Championship with Suzuki, joined test riders Randy de Puniet and Nobuastu Aoki in riding the new prototype which is set to enter the MotoGP championship in 2015. Our own Troy Siahaan was in Austin for the MotoGP round and he was on hand to film this clip of Schwantz preparing for his ride: Post by Motorcycle.com.
