Suzuki GSX / Katana description

HEY ALL THIS IS MIKE. I ONLY RIDE AND COLLECT SUZUKI GS MODELS SINCE 1978
THIS BIKE WAS BOUGHT OVER SEAS IN JAPAN BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER BACK IN 1982
THIS IS A FLAT OUT ,TOTAL RESTORATION OF A RARE RACING GS MODEL BY SUZUKI.
I WILL BE REMOVING ONLY THE OIL COOLER AND REAR TAIL LIGHT LENS  FOR ANOTHER BIKE OF MINE.
SADLY IT WAS LEFT OUTDOORS SINCE 1993 BY ITS NON CARING OWNER WHO IS SADLY A FRIEND OF MINE.
I HAVE A PERSON WHO IS WILLING TO SELL TWO DIFFERENT SETS OF GAS TANKS AND SIDE COVERS FOR $600.00 FOR EACH SET.
IF INTERESTED I CAN INCLUDE THE IMPORTANT PARTS IN THE SALE AT THE EXTRA COST OF THE SET
I PURCHASED IT FROM HIM IN HOPES OF RESTORING IT, BUT TIME AND MONEY ISSUES DOES NOT ALLOW THAT
SOME OF THE COMPONENTS SUCH AS THE THROTTLE,CHOKE AND BRAKE PEDAL,AND CARBURETORS  ARE SEIZED UP ,BUT CAN BE BOUGHT BACK TO OPERATIONAL USE BY THE RIGHT PERSON WITH THE RIGHT KNOWLEDGE
THE MOTOR  "IS NOT" SEIZED AND SPINS FREELY AS IT SHOULD
I HAVE A N.Y. TITLE BUT NO KEY.
IT IS A 1000 CC MOTOR.
I HAVE ADDED A PICTURE OF A KATANA VIN DECODER,SO YOU CAN SEE THE BIKES ORIGIN -HISTORY OF MFG..
WHEN COMPLETE,THESE BIKES AVERAGE OUT AT A RETAIL OF BETWEEN. $7,000 - 12,500. THEY ARE A QUITE COLLECTIBLE MODEL
IT HAS A RARE YOSHIMURA PIPE AND BAFFLE.
CALL OR ASK ME ANYTHING YOU WANT ABOUT THE BIKE 631-960-3005

WSBK 2013: Portimao Race Report

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty split a pair of victories at Portugal’s Portimao circuit while Sylvain Guintoli took advantage of some misfortune to his championship rivals to increase his lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings. Guintoli has been leading or sharing the lead in the championship since winning the first race of Round 1 in Australia, but amazingly continues to lead despite having just that single victory after six rounds. The Aprilia rider has accomplished this through his consistency (Guintoli leads all racers with nine podium finishes in 12 races) and ability to finish each race (he’s the only rider in the top seven without a DNF).
