Other Other description

This is a replica of a 1910 Indian Boardtrack racer. I have completely built this by hand with all new materials over the past couple of months, and it is fully able to be ridden, at extreme speeds of 25 mph! I used a 66 cc motor, and created a faux crankcase to give it as much of an authentic look as possible for the time period. The bike has a drive chain setup with a rear sprocket and a tensioner pulley, as shown in the pictures. As a warning - this bike is not the most comfortable to ride. It is comfortable enough once you get used to having your knees up pretty high to rest them on the pedals while riding, and sitting on a seat with no springs that is quite low, as this is how the boardtrack racers really were in the early 1900's. It has no suspension of any sort. However, like I said, it is comfortable enough to ride around town and and catch the eye of many people who are full of questions!

Starting it is pretty simple, just pedaling and releasing the clutch. If you want the bike to idle, a small spring-loaded button is on the clutch so that you don't have to hold the clutch in the entire time it is idling. Once it has been running, pedal it a little ways, give it some gas, and let go of the clutch, and you're back on the road. The fuel is a 20:1 gas to oil mix while the engine is breaking in. After a couple tanks, you can start running a 40:1 mix, since the engine is most likely to be broken in at this point. The bike will get about 80 mpg, so you can go quite a ways on one tank. The tank itself holds about a gallon of fuel.

Wherever I ship to in the US, it will be an additional price on top of what the bike sells for of $200 for crating and shipping fees, using FedEx. Different arrangements will have to be made for shipping overseas if necessary. I expect a $500 deposit within 24 hours of when the auction ends, and the other 50% before I ship it to you. The bike is a blast to ride, and I'm sure you'll love it!
