Moto Guzzi Stelvio description

I bought this beautiful orange Stelvio new last year from the dealer. I found I am riding my Norge and a KTM 990 much more so I have decided the Stevio will go to a new home. It is not even broken in yet but the 1,000mi service was preformed by the dealer and it is ready to ride. It has a clean PA title and a current inspection. I have done a few things to upgrade it based on threads on the Guzzi forum.  This bike is excellent for asphalt rode touring or when you want to do more primitive dirt/gravel rode camping.  It is not a single track dirt bike but is surprisingly capable.  The power comes on at very low rpm and extends to the upper reaches of the power band.  Handling;  all I can say is you just "think it" around a bend.

- The OEM driving lights were known to short so I replaced mine with some Rigid Inds. LED units.
- All wires were tied away from places where they might chafe or melt.
- The turn signals in the mirrors were upgraded to the European units for longer service life.
- I added additional lighting at the rear.
- It was wired for, but had no grip heaters, so I added the Norge factory, 3 position heaters that integrate with the computer and digital display.
- Several minor items added were a wider side stand foot, a dual sport tire in front for gravel roads, and powder coated the skid plate.
- Extenda fenda is on the front.
- There is now a crossbar for a GPS across the windshield mounts.

NADA has it at $11,490 so I am pricing this one at $9,600

Many people have commented that the Norge bags, which can easily be adapted, look so much nicer on the Stelvio . This thread has several sets of Norge bags for sale if so desired.

I am selling the Stelvio with the side racks and original aluminum boxes for the $9,500 price. This is a steal but I need room.

All in all this is a really really nice bike which is 100% reliable and I hope, down the road, I will not regret selling this instead of one of the others.

Buyers will be expected to place a $500.00 PayPal deposit with full cash payment upon pick up.
I am willing to meet a buyer at the airport if a "fly 'n ride" is in your plans.  All arrangements for transportation must be made by the buyer and discussed prior to pick up.
