MV Agusta F4 description

2004 Mv Agusta F4 - SPR, Very rare bike, #71 of 300 in the world, not showroom perfect but still very beautiful! - F4 SPR: THE CULT OF SPEED The SPR is the fastest and most powerful F4 of the MV AGUSTA 2003 range. Created for the clientele that uses the motorcycle mainly on tracks, the SPR is a synthesis of a long tuning process to the Evolution engine. The technical staff at MV AGUSTA designed a new cylinder head, new inlet ducts, and redesigned the combustion chamber. Also thanks to the new "MAHLE" pistons, stamped and with cooling oil jets, the SPR engine reaches a stratospheric threshold of the rev limiter at 13,900rpm. A further and significant development involved the primary transmission, now with shorter ratios, equipped with a reinforced clutch. As a demonstration of its racing spirit, the SPR comes with a close ratio gearbox whilst having a long first gear with respect to the SENNA model; this solution in conjunction with the possibility to choose three different final transmission ratios, allows one to match the motorcycle’s performance to any type of track. Those of whom will use the SPR on track may further increase performance by adopting the RG3 open exhaust, available as an option. On a vehicle conceived for such an extreme use, much attention has been directed towards weight reduction, working not only on the engine but also on many components concerning the bodywork. In fact, numerous parts in carbon fiber are evident: the front mudguard, the ignition system cover, and the upper and lower chain-guard protections. Apart from their inherent properties of light weight and mechanical resistance, these give greater product value to the aesthetics. Even the graphical choices underline the "racing" philosophy of this model. The SPR is available only in opaque black enriched by unique graphical details aimed at underlining the more impressive performance and sports characteristics. Limited Edition MV Agusta Brutale Corsa Announced

Wed, 10 Jul 2013

MV Agusta is adding another variant to its four-cylinder 1078cc Brutale lineup. Alongside the Brutale 1090, 1090 R and 1090 RR, MV Agusta will offer the new limited edition Brutale Corsa (and no, we’re pretty sure they didn’t at any point consider calling it the 1090 RRR. We’re pretty sure.) The Brutale Corsa shares the same 1078cc 16-valve four-cylinder engine as the 1090 models.

World Supersport 2013: Donington Park Race Report – MV Agusta’s First Podium in World Championship 37 Years

Mon, 27 May 2013

Yakhnich Yamaha rider Sam Lowes won his World Supersport Championship-leading third win of the season, finishing ahead of Mahi Racing India Kawasaki‘s Kenan Sofuoglu, but the biggest news coming out of Donington Park was the third place finisher, Roberto Rolfo of the ParkinGo MV Agusta team. Rolfo finished third despite starting 16th on the grid, earning the first podium in a World Championship race for MV Agusta since Giacomo Agostini won the 1976 500cc German Grand Prix at Nürburgring. Lowes took the early lead from pole position followed by Kawasaki Intermoto’s Florian Marino and Sofuoglu.

MV Agusta returns to MotoGP

Mon, 28 May 2018

The Italian brand will rediscover the royal championship after a 40-year absence. In the 2019 season, the Agustas will start the battle in the intermediate Moto2 class, where all teams use one engine. Here’s a reminder that starting from next year, a single unit will be the 765-cc Triumph, which will replace the 600-cc four-cylinder Honda engine.
