THE PAINT WORK IS NICE, THE BIKE HAS VERY NICE STOCK 1974 Z1 PIPES VERY NICE. THE BIKE IS A NON NUMBERS MATCHING THE FRAME IS Z1F-06336 AND THE ENGINE IS Z1E-16054 WHILE BOTH ARE 73 S THEY ARE NOT A MATCH FROM THE FACTORY. THE BIKE RUNS VERY GOOD, STOPS GREAT - A VERY GOOD RIDER. THERE ARE SOME REPRODUCTION PARTS: SWITCHES, SEAT, GRAB BAR, SHOCKS. THE BLACK PARTS HAVE BEEN POWDER COATED AND LOOK VERY NICE. WHILE THE BIKE IS NOT 100% IT IS VERY NICE, MAKE ANY OFFER HE WONT BE UPSET AND YOU MAY JUST OWN IT . Fri, 07 Jan 2011We all like to save a shilling if we can, especially these days, but sometimes, doing a job yourself, cutting corners and generally grubbing round being tight fisted actually ends up costing you more money than biting the bullet and putting your hand a bit deeper into your pocket to get a proper job done. The problem is, I come from a long line of, erm, frugal Yorkshire b####rds going back generations, and I seem to be hardwired as a bit of a skinflint. My dad, although never actually short of money, that I could remember, didn’t like spending it.

Mon, 27 Aug 2012The historic race first-ever World Superbike Championship round in Russia provided plenty of drama with several top riders crashing out of both races and a new leader emerge in the chase for the 2012 WSBK Championship. Superpole qualifying made for four different manufacturers lining up in the first row of the grid, with Carlos Checa taking pole position for Althea Ducati ahead of Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes, Aprilia‘s Eugene Laverty and BMW rider Leon Haslam. A slightly damp and unfamiliar track likely contributed to a number of crashes and collisions.
ABS Option Coming for 2014 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Classic, Nomad and Vaquero
Wed, 17 Apr 2013Anti-lock brake technology has become fairly commonplace for motorcycles now, and it sometimes comes as a bit of a surprise when a major manufacturer does not offer ABS as an option on certain models. The European Parliament making ABS mandatory by 2016 has helped push things along, as manufacturers work to equip their models with the technology ahead of the deadline, not just for the European market but also for other markets including the U.S. New documents released by the California Air Resources Board reveal Kawasaki will offer an ABS version for its 2014 Vulcan 1700 cruisers and tourers for American consumers.
