Built nearly from scratch using the best parts and mindsavailable - to build this master piece. Many of the parts on this bike werecustom made from the finest materials. Every part of this bike was meticulouslyselected, manufactured, restored, reengineered to the highest level of quality fit and finish, and by the best in the business. The time and energy that wentinto this bike is immeasurable. Everypart on the bike is ether chromed, powder coated or polished. When you look atthis bike you can clearly see the painstaking level of detail and quality.You would be hard pressed to find another Kawasaki Z1 anywherethat comes close to this bike. If you were to add up the cost; the bike tostart with, fabricating and custom made parts, chrome galore, powder coating,special ordered parts, custom paint the engine build the massive amount oflabor in creating, designing, and building the bike, there is easily over $50,000invested ! The bike is flawless, runsperfectly and has almost no miles on it. Here is a rundown : The frame is a 1977 Kawasaki KZ1000. The neck was raked, reinforced and the frame powder coated. Swing arm is a 1 off custom made from steel and powdercoated. Wheels are custom made for the bike by HDW at a cost of $3000 . Brake rotor center carries are custom made billet aluminumfrom CNC machining and chromed. Brake system is all Performance Machine. Triple tree is billet and chromed special order from Japanthrough Z1 Enterprise at $1000 . Front fender was narrowed to fit the small race tire. The front tire is a racing slick custom grooved for streetuse Tank is new OEM Rear tail is custom modified racing tail piece from Z1Enterprise. All electrical harnesses and components are custom done tothe highest level of fit, finish and quality. The seat pan is an original Z1 seat narrowed, shortened andmodified to accommodate the bike along with the nitrous solenoids. Motor is a mix of the best parts. The cases are of a laterKZ1000 year because of the extra web in the case that gives more strength. Headis from a Z1. The trans KZ1000. The engine was built by MRE (Murdoch RacingEnterprises) in Florida under the direction of the owner Jay Regan. No expensespared approx $10,000 was spent at MRE . The components and work done weresimply the best and are as follows; Engine is 1200cc Cylinder head is milled to eleven to 1, ported with oversize stainlesssteel valves. (Runs fine on 91 pump gas) 400 lift web cam shifts MRE street-cut transmission MRE lock up clutch Welded blue printed and balanced crankshaft by Falicon Dyna ignition 35mm CR smoothbore carbs Vanes & Hines drag racing exhaust aka Spider pipe MRE Nitrous system installed to the highest quality level MRE air shifter The engine was dynode and develops 154 H/P without Nos. The nitro system the way it’s setup will give a 35 to 40 H/P bump in power .

Webb Wins Salt Lake City EnduroCross

From an EnduroCross press release: Factory Beta and Stillwell Performance-backed Cody Webb took a decisive win tonight in Salt Lake City’s inaugural AMA GEICO EnduroCross event. The win was Webb’s second after taking the first round victory in Las Vegas and puts him and his Beta two-stroke 300 into the points lead. The race fans in attendance at the Energy Solutions Arena saw a night go almost perfectly for GEICO-supported Webb.

Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show. Isle of Man TT 2014: Bikenation Lightweight TT Results

Dean Harrison won his first Isle of Man TT race, taking the three-lap Bikenation Lightweight TT by 14.6 seconds. Harrison took the lead early, having the fastest time through Glen Helen ahead of last year’s Lightweight TT winner James Hillier by about half a second. Harrison stretched the lead to 9.7 seconds by the end of the first lap.
