This is a survivor of the 1970s two stroke street bike era that is hard to find in this condition. New parts everywhere. I have the service manuals and the riders manual, and spare gas cap keys. Up for sale, a very nice 1976 Kawasaki KH500 3 cylinder Mach III with a manufacture date of 1975. I have spent lots of time and money to make it run and look great, starts on first kick. All original. I had the tank and side covers professionally repainted with original colors with new decals. Seat has a new cover, new battery, new tires and tubes, shocks,grips, handlebars and levers, headlight bucket and rim,all cables and new chain, and air box intake rubber. Everything works as it should, lights, horn, stoplight, etc. No rust and the tank is very clean inside with new petcock, and new gas locking gas cap. Carbs rebuilt with new carb kits. New plug wires and plugs. Lots of new hardware, and comes with the parts manual, service manual, and riders manual. I have the title in my name. I have owned this bike for about 4 years, have rode it very little and I am now ready to pass it on to another collector. If you like old Kaws, this one is getting hard to find. 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000, I have owned this bike since 1994, nearly 30 years. I have decided to sell because I don't ride it at all anymore and someone should enjoy this bike. It has sat unused for too long and needs to appreciated by a new owner. I have set a reserve that is very reasonable when considering all the extra parts you are getting. I had the bike tuned and running last summer, rode it 2X's and it has been sitting since. I tried to start bike yesterday, battery was dead, I tried kick starting it for about 15 minutes and gave up. I am done with messing with it. It will run with very little effort. I am selling a huge collection of parts with the bike as well. Everything goes as a package deal. Many original parts are included in sale. Bike comes with nearly all the parts to put it back to showroom stock if you choose to go that route except, handlebars, exhaust, and air cleaner. Bike is mainly stock with some bolt-ons: Vance and Hines exhaust, Dyna Ignition and coils, K&N Air filters, Braided Steel brake Lines, Corbin seat, etc. Engine internals are stock: only 19K miles on engine. I am positive of it. Bike is complete. It is painted with a very deep purple PPG custom color. looks black until you get it into sunlight, then you can see the candy color. Bike currently has spoked wheels on it, but comes with aluminum mag-style wheels. One of the rear wheels is from a Police KZ1000 and worth a few $$$'s. Included in the extra parts list: :KZ1000 Plaque, foot brake assembly, kick stand, center stand, turn signal assembly, original rear fender, shifter levers, brake levers, headlight housing, mirror, front fork stabilizer, ignition cover, rear shocks, extra fuel tank, side covers, 2 original style seats: one totally original flat seat/original stitching/perfect condition, another stepped original seat that was re-upholstered., 2 sissy bars, oil cooler, chrome bolt kits, 3 sprockets, chain guard, 3 mag style wheels- 1 front, 2 rear, Top-end of engine assy: cylinder bores, cylinder head, 6 carbs, cams, valves and springs, etc all fasteners, these have been taken apart in a "semi-organized" manner and bagged No damage to bores. There is NOT a crank or rods here. The photos show quite clearly what is included. If you have any questions, let me know. kawasaki 1000 kz1000 E1 ST project bike texas title japan made bike 1979 shaft (1979)
1979 kz1000 E1 ST has 48667 on odometer , frame is KZT00E006122 , 1015cc motor is KZT00EE006171 , frame sticker says made in Japan CLEAR TEXAS TITLE Exhaust is original and both look pretty good there is some stains but see no rust outs on them, brakes front master cylinder does not work , rear master cylinder works front dual disc brakes and single rear disc brake motor does kick over with some compression I did not really mess with it much carbs the choke does move and slides move up and down with throttle gas tank has rust inside but think you could flush it with few bolts inside and it will clean up pretty good to just run a filter and not cream it. there is couple small dents no bigger then a dime as shown in pictures, emblem holes filled in left side cover is in good shape with seat lock cover in place, emblem holes filled in right side cover has crack at top front push pin mount could repair that area since it is corner it will repair well, emblem holes filled in electrical looks to need little attention keys ignition , seat fork lock , there is no keys to bike , ignition has been removed but I do have it. ( NO KEYS ) but there is Good Title for bike wheels look in pretty good shape seat looks okay but pan is starting to rust out good enough to use until you either decide to repair it or get another, cover looks okay I will hold it for couple weeks, help load it if shipper comes to pick it up.2013-10-21 00:14:22Alvarado, Texas, US48,667750.00 -

Kawasaki Ninja Nights Revving Up for Laguna Seca SBK
Tue, 24 Jun 2014With Tom Sykes and his Kawasaki Ninja ZX–10R holding a comfortable lead in his title defense of the World Superbike Championship and Loris Baz standing in third place aboard his ZX–10R, you might expect that Kawasaki would have some important plans for celebrating 30 years of Ninjas during the 2014 SBK season. And you’d be right. Following much of the same format as its successful Bike Nite in the Daylight Show, Team Green has joined forces with Two Brothers Racing to bring Kawasaki Ninja Nights 2014 to Laguna Seca on July 12th from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.
2014 WSBK – Misano Results
Mon, 23 Jun 2014Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes won both races at Misano to stretch his championship lead to 39 points as we pass the halfway mark of the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The reigning champion scored his third double-win round of the season while his teammate Loris Baz added a pair of second-place finishes. David Salom on the Kawasaki’s factory EVO entry was also the top rider in the new sub-class for both races to top off a strong weekend for the Team Green.
45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.

Mon, 09 Jun 2014The first ever World Superbike round in Malaysia offered a plenty of drama including both factory Kawasaki riders crashing out on the first lap, a red flagged second race and an overall impressive outing by Aprilia. Under pressure for his lack of results so far this season, Marco Melandri impressed, earning the double for his first career wins on the RSV4 Factory. Aprilia riders led every lap in both races at Sepang, including the red-flagged initial start for Race 2, with Sylvain Guintoli joining his teammate on the podium with a pair of second-place finishes.
Isle of Man TT 2014: Bikenation Lightweight TT Results
Fri, 06 Jun 2014Dean Harrison won his first Isle of Man TT race, taking the three-lap Bikenation Lightweight TT by 14.6 seconds. Harrison took the lead early, having the fastest time through Glen Helen ahead of last year’s Lightweight TT winner James Hillier by about half a second. Harrison stretched the lead to 9.7 seconds by the end of the first lap.

It is the second-consecutive year that Dunlop has won four races in a single TT, this time capturing the Senior, Superbike, Superstock, and the second Supersport TT races. It took a while for Dunlop to get going.

Thu, 05 Jun 2014Dave Molyneux won his 17th career TT as he and passenger Patrick Farrance took the second Sidecar race of the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Molyneux is the career leader in Sidecar TT wins and third overall in total Isle of Man TT victories behind Joey Dunlop and John McGuinness. Molyneux and Farrance won the race by a good 44-second margin but they benefited greatly from a mechanical problem plaguing early race leaders John Holden and Andrew Winkle.
Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 2 Results
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop led from start to finish to win the second Supersport TT race, giving him 10 TT victories in his career, tying him with the likes of Giacomo Agostini. Dunlop also joins sidecar racer Robert Fisher, Ian Lougher and Stanley Woods with 10 wins apiece, all tied for seventh overall on the all-time wins list. Riding his MD Racing Honda CBR600RR, Dunlop got off to a strong start, recording a time of 17:55.817 on the opening lap, giving him a 4.6-second advantage over fellow Honda rider Bruce Anstey.
Isle of Man TT 2014: RL360 Superstock TT Results
Tue, 03 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop won his second race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT and ninth in his career, taking the RL360 Superstock TT on a BMW S1000RR. Dunlop also won the Superbike TT earlier, giving BMW its first two wins on the Isle of Man since 1939. Meanwhile, Supersport TT 1 winner Gary Johnson was injured in a crash on the opening lap while running second behind Dunlop.

Harrison, along with passenger Mike Aylott won the first of two Sure Sidecar TT races. The win was the first for Harrison since he made his Isle of Man TT debut 21 years ago in 1993.
