1974 Kawasaki Other (1974)
I wont sugar coat it, this bike is in rough shape. It's a 1974 Kawasaki 250 triple. What I know is wrong: No title (the guy i got it from just wanted the engine, he never got it) No keys (again, the guy just wanted the engine) all 3 pistons need replaced. They were rusted solid inside the cylinders. all 3 cylinders need to be bored and honed crankshaft needs to be rebuilt (3 or 4 of the bearings have excessive play in them from rusting and being cleaned) bike needs new throttle cable (if you're going to rebuild the engine, you should probably replace all the cables) light surface rust on whole bike The good: I already stripped the engine and split the crank case for you i already cleaned all the rust off the crank shaft (it was pretty bad) all the parts are still here The first picture is the bike in the condition i received it.2016-12-15 04:37:10Glassboro, New Jersey, United States94100 -

First I must tell you, this bike needs a new engine, unless you are a mechanic. Engine is still good however the small sprocket is broke off and second gear is shot. It will cost more to have a mechanic to correct the problem that to purchase a new engine. The result is an entry-level cruiser with sportbike-derived power retailing for $6999 ($7399 with ABS). The fuel-injected engine is tuned for smooth power delivery, with revised camshaft profiles, intake funnel length, throttle body spacer and air intake for better low- and mid-range power delivery.
