Kawasaki KLR tech info
Kawasaki KLR description
2011 KLR650 with almost 19,000 miles. Runs great and has been a summer daily driver for work and fun. It has never been wrecked/laid over, but has fallen over due to uneven weight in the panniers. There are no hand guards. I removed them when I first got the bike. I bought this bike new in May of 2011. The back rim has scuffs from when the tire blew out 3 years ago. I replaced the 14T sprocket with a 16T to lower the rpm's for better highway riding. This bike is not showroom quality, and it has cosmetic wear. The handlebar has a slight bent from when it fell over. One of the tabs on the seat is broke as well and is only bolted down on one side. I have used it off road to get to trailheads for climbing. It comes with Happy Trails Teton panniers 9in x18in x15in. Please do ask questions. You are responsible for the shipping of the item. I will have it ready for whoever you ship with. You are also welcome to come pick it up in person.

Kawasaki World Debut At AIMExpo
Mon, 11 Aug 2014Kawasaki has chosen the 2014 American International Motorcycle Expo as the venue to make the world debut of a yet unannounced motorcycle model. The model launch will take place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, this October 16-19. “AIMExpo demonstrated last year that it can serve as the ideal platform for media and brand activities and Kawasaki will leverage this grand stage to reveal new products, as well as interact closely with dealers and consumers,” explains Kevin Allen, Kawasaki Manager, PR + Brand Experience. “We have some very exciting new product to share and AIMExpo is the perfect place to make these announcements.” Attendees will also witness the North American introduction of all-new vehicles in several categories from Kawasaki. Following the unveilings, all products will then be on full display for all to see inside Kawasaki’s booth (#2165) out on the AIMExpo show floor. “Kawasaki joins an expanding list of key companies that sees AIMExpo as the perfect means to infuse energy into the powersports business in North America,” says Larry Little, Vice President and General Manager, Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group.
AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season
Fri, 12 Apr 2013AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
Played: SBK 2011
Wed, 22 Jun 2011The nerves are rising as I sit upon a factory Ducati on the grid at the final round of the WSB championship lined-up against the best riders in the World, the lights are about go out to decide winner… The reality however, is I've been working on my arse groove in the couch, in a darkened room with the remnants of last nights takeaway playing on SBK 2011. SBK 2011 is the next extension in the bike racing game series. The two major modes in the game are the standard career and the SBK Tour.
