1971 KAWASAKI G3TR-A. THIS IS A SUPER RARE BIKE TO FIND IN ORIGINAL CONDITION. IT WAS FOUND IN THE PLACE IT WAS PARKED IN THE LATE 1970S AT A CLOSED UP JUNKYARD HERE IN NC. THE MAN WHO OWNED THE PLACED PASSED AND HIS SON SOLD US A BUNCH OF STUFF. THE BIKE HAS BEEN INSIDE FOR ALMOST 40 YEARS! IT HAS SOME RUST ON IT AS THERE WAS SOME MOSITURE IN THE GARAGE IT WAS IN. THE MOTOR TURNS OVER WITH COMPRESSION AND I WOULD THINK IT WOULD RUN WITH MINIMAL WORK. THE BIKE LOOKS TO BE COMPLETE EXCEPT FOR ONE SIDE COVER AND THE TAIL LIGHT ASSEMBLY ETC.. . WHAT YOU SEE IN PICS IS WHAT COMES WITH THE BIKE. IT IS MOSTLY COMPLETE. SOLD AS IS NOT RUNNING! NO TITLE. BIKE IS SOLD WITH NO TITLE. THERE IS NO TITLE. New: Kawasaki Z40 Limited Edition watch

KAWASAKI are releasing a limited run of chronograph watches to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the launch of their seminal bike. To reflect the engine capacity of the Z1, the run of watches has been limited to just 903 time pieces and will retail in the UK at £249.95. The watch will be officially launched at the main German motorcycle show, Intermot, on 2October, in just the same way the Z1 arrived in Europe for the first time 40 years ago.

Kawasaki Teases Ninja H2

Kawasaki announced it will unveil a new motorcycle called the Ninja H2 at the Intermot show on Sept. 30 and the evidence suggests it will be a new supercharged sportbike. The Japanese manufacturer first announced last November it was developing a supercharged I-4 engine at the Tokyo Motor Show, and the Ninja H2 announcement suggests that’s exactly what we’ll see in Cologne.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
