1986 KTM 80. RARE BIKE!  This was the only 80 KTM made until the later years.  This little bike is a collectors item.  It does run but it needs clutch work and tires.  There is a scar in the cylinder wall but the bike doesn't know it.  Has aftermarket reeds that have been modified to fit it. No longer have a title but it's a dirt bike.

An actual production version is on its way, as recent spy photos indicate, but the actual prototype displayed at Milan still maintains an aura of mystique. The specs sheet, for example, was intentionally vague.

Moto3. Recession racers?

Mon, 08 Nov 2010

I've sat through enough manufacturer' presentations recently to know that we're in trouble. Ignoring the still booming Asian markets, the rest of the motorcycle World is in free-fall. Even looking at the figures optimistically we're still only selling half the volumes we were in pre-crash 2006.
