Five Things You Gotta Know: 2025 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R
Wed, 26 Nov 2025It’s big, it’s fast, and boy is it sweet. Intimidation immediately took over as I was greeted to my steed for our second trip to northern Ontario, this time to explore paths unpaved. Why?
Is the KTM 990 RC R Comfortable To Ride?
Wed, 12 Nov 2025Comfort isn’t often part of the conversation with this type of bike, yet that’s exactly what impressed our own Nic de Sena after a few miles aboard the brand KTM 990 RC R last month. The bike's ergonomics find a sweet balance between support and freedom of movement. The seat offers quality support from front to back, and the tank design — featuring loads of real estate along the sides — offers a natural place for your knees to grab without crowding your upper body.

Tue, 28 Oct 2025Survival of the fittest Photos by Sebas Romero and Emanuel Tschann. Change is slow in the fast-paced world of motorsports until it isn’t. One moment, the Supersport category is chockablock with high-strung 600cc Inline-Four-powered race replicas, and then bam!

2025 KTM 390 SMC R: A 60 Second Review
Thu, 09 Oct 2025KTM’s 2025 390 SMC R brings Supermoto attitude to a smaller, more accessible platform. Designed as the younger sibling to the 690 SMC R, it keeps the focus on agility and urban performance while making the formula easier to live with—and far more affordable. At the heart of the 390 SMC is a 399cc Single-cylinder engine, part of KTM’s new generation of lightweight thumpers shared with the 390 Duke and 390 Adventure.

The baby brother to the 690 SMC R, the 390 arrives as a playful, pint-sized urban assault vehicle because that’s effectively what a supermoto with lights and a license plate really amounts to. 2025 KTM 250 Duke Review – First Ride
Fri, 18 Jul 2025Proof that it’s possible to be a polite hooligan Photos by Nic de Sena. We gearheads live and ride by certain rules, wrought in carbon fiber and signed in full synthetic motor oil. One of these rules states: if someone offers to loan you a bike while you’re in town visiting, you say, “Yes, please.” And so it was that I found myself standing next to a KTM 250 Duke, calmly contemplating my odds of surviving SoCal freeways on a 30-horsepower (claimed, at the crank) bike.

2025 KTM 390 Adventure R Review – First Ride
Mon, 14 Jul 2025Adventure bikes break into the small time Photos by KTM/Simon Cudby. Thankfully, the apparent sugar high of displacement one-upmanship between adventure motorcycle manufacturers seems to have worn off enough in recent years to allow some consumer sentiment to creep into the market. Back in 2008, the modern middleweight adventure bike class kicked off when BMW introduced the F 800 GS.
