Up for action here is a 1972/1973 Husqvarna 250 WR/RT. Serial number SK00181. This bike has no title. Bill of sale only. It doesn't give you that option when setting up the auction. I don't know a lot about Huskies. I looked this up on several Husqvarna serial number website and it came back as a 1972 250 WR/RT . If you can add anything else please let me know. The bike has been sitting for quite awhile. It has NO MOTOR. The motor was missing when I got it. It includes the original exhaust and Amal carburetor There is rust on some parts of the bike as well as 2 small dings on the gas tank. In addition, the front and rear fenders have a crack in them. The rear one has been repaired (Welded) by someone. What you are bidding on is the bike with all the parts shown. I'm sure she could be restored by the right person. Bike sold as is. Sold with bill of sale only. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Deposit due within 24hrs of auctions end. Balance due within 7 days of auctions end. New 2014 Husqvarna Models – Get Your Two-Strokes Here!
Tue, 08 Oct 2013To celebrate its 110th birthday this year, Husqvarna is offering no less than ten different North American models including two-strokes and four-strokes and sizes ranging from 85cc to 501cc. Several of Husqvarna’s innovations can be found on the 2014 machines – most notably the polyamide rear subframe. Housing the airbox and electronics of each model, the high-tech composite construction of the polyamide subframe is designed to offer optimum rigidity while also allowing more flex than a traditional aluminum structure (polyamide will bend back into place unlike aluminum). The innovative subframe is applied to every new Husqvarna – even the TCs which marks the first time a composite rear subframe has been offered on a production two-stroke motocrosser. Each model in the 2014 line also utilizes WP front suspension mounted by Husqvarna’s distinctive CNC-machined black triple clamps.
Danny Kent’s 2014 Moto3 Husqvarna
Tue, 28 Jan 2014Following the announcement in November last year that Husqvarna will field Britain’s Danny Kent and Finnish rider Niklas Ajo in a Red Bull-backed Moto3 effort comes the first photos of the bike in its racing livery. Kent had previously raced Moto3 for KTM and team manager, Aki Ajo, winning races at Valencia and Motegi in 2012. Niklas Ajo will be racing his third season in Moto3 next year, after finishing 19th overall in 2012 and 14th in 2013. According to Husky’s Facebook page the team is busy setting up the Moto3 bikes for the upcoming season.
