Motorcycle manufacturers have a different take on the word “spy”. For most people, when we hear the word “spy”, we picture covert operatives hiding in the shadows, trying to ferret out someone’ top secret information. The OEMs however, seem to use the other definition of “spy”, as in “to observe”.

EICMA 2012: Husqvarna Presents Updated Baja Concept

Last January, Husqvarna unveiled a new concept model at the International Motorcycle Shows stop in New York City called the Baja. That concept was similar to the MOAB concept Husqvarna displayed at last year’s EICMA show, but with an off-road style mud guard instead of the MOAB’s street fender. This year, Husqvarna returns to the 2012 EICMA Show with an updated version of the Baja concept that looks a lot closer to being ready for production.

ONE question - where can we get one? The video shows Swedish army issue Husqvarna 258's (1981) fitted with 'ski-stabilisers'. The riders put their feet on the skis and slide in confidently, despite the snow and ice.
