2008 Husqvarna SMR 450Hey guys, I'm selling my Track 2008 Husqvarna SMR 450 because I need a street legal bike to commute. -2008 Husqvarna SMR 450 Chassis -2008 TC 450 motor, 18 hours, Kick Start, Carbureted -Beringer Brakes-STM Slipper Clutch-16.5 Marchesini front and seventeen Marchesini rear-Custom FMF exhaust-Marzocchi Race Fork, just re-valve by Cyclemall.net-Rear Shock, re-valve by Cyclemall.netPink slip is clean and clear, bike is reg non-op. Bike has been taken to Adams a handful of time and dropped in the dirt section at very low speed. Race motor seized because valve dropped, replaced it with a new 2008 TC 450 motor and now runs like a champ. Husqvarna Launches New Site for 900cc Streetbike

Husqvarna has launched a new website for its upcoming 900cc debut in the streetbike market segment. At the moment, the site, www.husqvarna900.com, is sparse on the details but that will change fairly quickly. Technical specs are expected on June 25 with the first official images to be revealed July 1.

BMW sold 104,286 motorcycles in 2011, the most units the German manufacturer has sold in a single year in its entire 90-year history. 2011 sales surpassed the previous record of 102,467 units sold in 2007. 2011 also saw a 6.4% increase in BMW’s motorcycle sales over the 98,047 units sold in 2010.

Thirty-two years after his death, Steve McQueen still reigns as the coolest movie star to ever ride a motorcycle. One of his preferred brands was Husqvarna (another, seen here, was Triumph) and to the delight of motorcycle enthusiasts and McQueen fans alike, one of his bikes will soon be in the hands of a new owner. This 1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross owned and ridden by Steve McQueen will be up for auction on January 10th, at Bally’s Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, by Bonhams. The motorcycle comes with an exhaustive quantity of documents supporting its provenance and authenticity.
