Husqvarna Other description

This is a one of a kind museum piece folks ! the bike starts and runs as new. only about ten hours time. has original tires with little wear showing evidence of very little ride time. This was a one year transition 1983 model from chrome tank in 1982 to the new plastic tank in 1984. owner died of cancer shortly after buying it. hardly rode it. he hung it from ropes in the garage and hung for 20 years. my friend owned it for 10 years. you wont find another one like it!
Nothing replaced or worked on. i have the owners Manuel

EICMA 2012: Introducing the Brutus, the Two-Wheeled SUV

You’d be forgiven if you thought the motorcycle pictured here was a Husqvarna on steroids. No, despite the red and white colors and Husky’s recent reputation for showcasing surprising concept models at EICMA (such as the Mille 3 in 2010 and the Baja at this year’s show), the bike shown here is an all new model called the Brutus from a company called Over. Designed by Alessandro Tartarini, formerly Lambretta designer and son of the founder of Italian motorcycle company Italjet, the Brutus is a pre-production concept that has been described as being a two-wheeled SUV.

ONE question - where can we get one? The video shows Swedish army issue Husqvarna 258's (1981) fitted with 'ski-stabilisers'. The riders put their feet on the skis and slide in confidently, despite the snow and ice. Fans of EnduroCross will be excited to know the 2014 season is set to get underway on May 2. Entering its 11th season of competition, two new venues will be joining the calendar, allowing more people to witness this exciting indoor off-road racing action. If you’re not familiar with it, EnduroCross tracks incorporate various elements of extreme off road racing into a Supercross-style setting, including rocks, boulders, logs, sand, mud, a water-hole…and even a few special obstacles like giant tires thrown in! Known as the “toughest racing on two wheels,” this indoor off road racing is sometimes described as carnage on two wheels, and will certainly keep you on your feet.
