1984 HUSQVARNA 500 AE AUTOMATIC THIS IS A HARD TO FIND BIKE. IT HAS BEEN OFF THE ROAD FOR MANY YEARS, BUT IT VERY RESTORABLE. THE ENGINE TURNS OVER WITH COMPRESSION. IT IS NOT RUNNING. THE BIKE APPEARS TO BE A PRETTY COMPLETE PIECE. THE FLYWHEEL COVER IS MISSING. THE FRONT FENDER IS PARTIALLY MISSING AS IT BROKE. THE REAR WHEEL DOES NOT ROLL AND WE SUSPECT LOCKED BRAKES OR FROZEN CHAIN. OVERALL A GREAT VERY HARD TO FIND PIECE FOR RESTORATION. 2012 Husqvarna Nuda 900R Unveiled
Fri, 01 Jul 2011Husqvarna has pulled the wraps off its first streetbike, the new 2012 Husqvarna Nuda 900R. Named for the Italian word for “naked”, the Husqvarna Nuda 900R is powered by a modified version of the engine from parent company BMW’s 800cc parallel Twin. Husqvarna hasn’t announced specific final numbers yet, but claims the now 900cc powerplant puts out over 100 hp and more than 73.8 ft-lb.
Husqvarna Announces 2013 Off-Road Lineup
Mon, 18 Jun 2012Husqvarna recently marking its fifth consecutive month of sales increases in May, and the company hopes to continue that momentum with the announcement of its 2013 off-road model lineup. The BMW-owned manufacturer is starting to churn out new product after a period of reductions since being acquired by the German company. As of May, Husqvarna had sold 4,420 motorcycles in 2012, up 43.5% from 2011.
2014 Husaberg Lineup Announced – Final Edition Before Husqvarna Merger
Thu, 23 May 2013Husaberg may soon be no more, but that hasn’t stopped the Austria-based Swedish brand from unveiling its 2014 lineup of seven models. News broke last week of plans to reunite Husaberg with Husqvarna, to be known as Husqvarna Sportmotorcycle GmbH as of October 2013, making lineup of of seven off-road bikes including both two- and four-stroke models the final traces of the Husaberg as an independent brand. These 2014 models will also give us some indication of what to expect from the new Husqvarna models.
