GET C1 Wireless Engine Hour Meter

C1 is the innovative engine hour meter by GET, the only one to work without any connection to the motorbike. Using the time-saving Velcro tape included in the kit, the C1 fits to the bike in just a few seconds.
This device detects the engine by interpreting and identifying the wave frequencies that flow through the surface on which it is mounted. C1 is fully waterproof (IP68) and has been designed to work even under the toughest conditions like off-road applications.
C1 has 2 engine hour meters and logs the total running time (no reset available). The partial engine hour meter can be reset pressing the select button in a certain procedure
The built-in battery allows for a 3-year lifespan.

US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results

The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .

2014 Husaberg Lineup Announced – Final Edition Before Husqvarna Merger

Husaberg may soon be no more, but that hasn’t stopped the Austria-based Swedish brand from unveiling its 2014 lineup of seven models. News broke last week of plans to reunite Husaberg with Husqvarna, to be known as Husqvarna Sportmotorcycle GmbH as of October 2013, making lineup of of seven off-road bikes including both two- and four-stroke models the final traces of the Husaberg as an independent brand. These 2014 models will also give us some indication of what to expect from the new Husqvarna models.

1,228 KTM and Husaberg Motorcycles Recalled

KTM and subsidiary Husaberg have initiated a recall campaign for certain 2010 and 2011 models due to a problem with their handlebar clamps. The recall campaign includes the 2011 KTM 450 EXC, KTM 530 EXC, Husaberg FE 570S, Husaberg FS 570 and the 2010-2011 KTM 690 Enduro R. The recall affects 1,228 units.
