Honda Other description

Up for sale is the classic 1966 Honda S90. This bike is a great restoration candidate, and with just a little work could be showroom quality. It is VERY clean and there are a lot of positives with this one. It was purchased from the Honda dealership in Kalispell, Montana, where it had been stored indoors for many years. As you can see from the dealer badge, this bike has called Montana home from the beginning, which means it has spent its time in a nice, dry climate. It is free from any major rust issues, and even the inside of the gas tank looks to be in amazing shape. It is not currently running, but the motor kicks over and has nice compression. The chrome on the exhaust pipe and wheels looks great and still has amazing shine considering the age. The fenders are beautiful, as are the headlight and speedometer gauge.

This S90 is being sold AS IS and without any warranty. It does not come with a title.

While this bike is in very nice shape for its age, there are a few things that are missing or that need to be mentioned. The turn signals and taillight are missing, although the bracket is still there as you can see in the pictures. There is no chain on the bike. The clutch lever cable is missing. The battery side cover is missing. The seat cover will need to be repaired. There is a pretty decent sized ding on the right side of the tank under the rubber pad, along with a couple of smaller dings - that being said, it looks like something a body guy could fix easily and I don't see any creases. Beyond that it looks to be very complete, but take a close look at the pictures as I tried to get a variety of shots that paint a good overall picture of this bike.

If you've been looking to restore an S90 with minimal work or parts to find, this is the one for you! I am located in Missoula, MT just off Interstate 90. Many freight companies have hubs here, so shipping is usually very easy to coordinate.

Please ask any questions BEFORE bidding, and if you have a feedback score below 5, PLEASE message before bidding - I've had 4 Buy it Now Auctions killed recently by people who hit the BIN button and then vaporize afterwards.

Thanks, and have fun bidding!

Honda Tuner Mugen Motorsports to Enter 2012 TT Zero Electric Race at Isle of Man

Thu, 16 Feb 2012

Engine tuning company Mugen Motorsports announced it will compete in the TT Zero electric motorcycle race at the 2012 Isle of Man TT. Though not officially a Honda company,Mugen was founded by Hirotoshi Honda, son of Honda founder Soichiro Honda, and the company is best known for its work as an engine tuner and parts maker for Honda vehicles. The Mugen entry to the TT Zero represents possibly the closest connection so far between a traditional motorcycle OEM and the relatively new realm of electric motorcycle racing.
