Honda Interceptor description

2002 Honda Interceptor VFR800, Single owner, garage kept, low miles. Wife says I cannot have 4 bikes so one must go to make room. Honda factory (Givi) red saddlebags and trunk ($1500 new). Overall very clean (minor scuffs and scratches). Good tires, battery > 1 year old. All service done at Family Powersports in Lubbock Texas (which bought the Honda shop where I bought it new). Runs great. 100 hp motor. stock exhaust. aftermarket touring windshield (I have the original as well). Has not been ridden much over the winter. Has been on a battery tender. Will get better pics when i can wash the winter dust off (its currently 15 degrees outside - its not happening this evening.). $4,000.00 8062390947

We got a tip-off about a former David Jefferies TT R1 for sale on eBay. The owner says it's from the 1998 TT but I'm pretty sure it was the one he raced in 1999. Here's a little bit more background about the V&M TT effort in 1999: In 1990 Jack Valentine gave up racing to concentrate on running V&M Racing, and after being sacked by Honda at the end of the 1998 season, the team set about to do some giant killing.

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.
