Honda Interceptor description

2002 HONDA VFR800 112 RWHP 69 FT.LBS. torque dyno tested by AAMP Performance. I have a video of it on the dyno if you want to see it.
In great shape with lots of mods. It has been my dependable baby but I just had major back surgery and doc says no more sportbike. I wasn't planning on ever selling it but now it will only go to waste so I would rather have someone who appreciates that wonderful 180 degree crank V-4. It sounds just like a V-8!

I'll list most of the mods, way more than the bike is worth. I know you can't get that back so I am listing it at a fair price. It has been reliable and very dependable. Just took it on a cross country trip to Florida averaging 45MPG! I don't want to sell it, I told my son I wanted to be buried with it! :-) Really I just won't be able to ride it ever again due to my back... Older adult owned and babied only down once in 2011 on one side but replaced beyond Honda specs, no frame damage just some cosmetics. Some very light scuffs here and there but all fairings in great shape.

Title notarized and ready to go.

Retro-Styled Dual Sport Revealed in Honda Patent Application

Thu, 15 May 2014

A newly-published patent application reveals Honda is working on a retro-styled dual sport. The application, filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, reveals a streetbike with round headlight and mirrors but with hand guards, wire spokes and a high-rising exhaust suggesting some off-road capability.

Honda is recalling over 20,000 Shadows in the US

Fri, 29 Jan 2016

Honda is recalling 22,142 motorcycles from shipments produced between 2010 and 2016. The reason was the vibration from the engine, which over time leads to chafing of the fall sensor wire in the common harness. Dealers promise to move the wire to another location and replace the sensor free of charge.

Do you remember Honda's EVO Blade?

Thu, 05 May 2011

I can remember exactly where I was when I first saw Honda's TT100 Evolution Fireblade: at the dinner table, reading MCN as a 16-year old lad and being told to put the paper down and get on with my dinner! I'm sure you appreciate why the lamb chops had to wait.. It was created by Honda to celebrate their 100th TT victory, however I'm pretty sure Honda had another agenda: to homologate it so they could put it up against the mighty new Yamaha R1 at the TT.
