Honda Interceptor description
Honda VFR800FI always garage kept, never parked on the street. Always on it's pitbull stand whenever in the garage. This bike has 22,850 miles. and has been driven only for leisure and never as a commuter bike. Bike starts first time, every time.
This is an exceptional bike to own and ride. It's v4 engine provides gobs of torque throughout the power range. This is the last model for the VFR800 to use the RC46 motor with gear driven cams, a definite plus. The fuel injection keeps the motor running great in the mountains if you drive to Tahoe. It's sport touring setup is easier on your back over long distances than a pure sport bike. The Givi cases provide tons of storage for weekend trips as well as comfortable seating for a passenger. Your passenger will have both a padded backrest and handles to hold on to. The Givi cases have knicks and scratches in the paint which is shown in the pictures. Upgrades include:
California (clean) blue title in hand. Bike is registered in California. Payment must be in the form of cash. Buyer is responsible for pickup from location. Pickup and payment must occur within 48 hours of auction close unless arrangements have been agreed to by seller and buyer. Please ask questions if you have them. This bike is amazing to ride. |

Honda to Introduce Larger “New Concept” Models for North America
Fri, 21 Sep 2012Honda announced it is following up on its NC700 series with a new large-sized model, with sales expected to begin in North America in 2013. Honda first announced plans for its NC700 models in at the 2010 EICMA show with a concept it called the “New Mid“, so it really shouldn’t be a surprise Honda would follow it up with a “New Large” series. The new models were announced in a presentation by Honda Chief Executive Officer Takanobu Ito alongside plans to develop a new MotoGP-derived sportbike.
So that's why he's called RANDY de Puniet
Tue, 20 Jul 2010RANDY de Puniet may well have just been ejected from his LCR Honda RC212V MotoGP racer during qualifying for Sunday's Sachsenring GP but that ain't gonna stop him from bringing one of the company perks with him to Dr Costa's on-circuit surgery. The Frenchman crashed during qualifying after hitting oil and water spilled on track by Jorge Lorenzo's Fiat Yamaha, after it spewed its guts along almost the entire length of the start finished straight. Following the crash De Puniet was whisked away on a stretcher with a suspected broken foot.
Another Cruiser?
Sun, 09 Nov 2008In a county gone mad with cruisers, from outrageous T.V. customs to 250cc Honda Rebels, the cruiser is the largest segment of the American motorcycle market. Interesting then, that despite a seeming glut in the cruiser supply, and receding sales figures from major OEMs in the past year, that new cruiser models keep coming.
