Honda Interceptor description

Up for auction is my incredible Fuel Injected 1998 Honda VFR800i, It has the sound, looks, reliability and delivers a smile every time I'm on it! It's all you could ask for in a midsize sports/tourer. It has a tiny dent on tank under the 'o' in Honda! and 2 smaller ones on tank also that are hardly noticeable. Has scratch under bottom of fairing and has a few thruout here and there! Most were touched up. Was dropped on both sides in garage. But still looks, runs excellent otherwise! It also has an updated rectifier with soldered wires (no connectors), new battery, volt meter, 200 miles on new Michelin Pilot Road 3 tires, red tank grips, reflective wheel stripes, original toolbag, centerstand, 6th gen mirrors, fresh oil & filter, fresh Blue Honda antifreeze, many carbon fiber accents, Arrow carbon fiber exhaust! carbon fiber bar ends, carbon fiber triple tree plate, carbon fiber Corbin seat look, Helibars! tinted Double Bubble windscreen, LED lighting thru out with switchback blinker/running lights! Dashlights are LED also! EZpass holder...Sounds incredibly like a V8!!!The VFR800 has a novel DCBS linked braking system. And that whine of the gear driven cam! Its like nothing else! This Bike was ALWAYS garaged and covered! Never left in the rain! It is my Fair weather driver and mileage might be a little higher at auctions end! Good Luck bidding and Sold as is!             Check out video!    https://youtu.be/u8spBxi2JTs

New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.

Day 3 Dakar 2014: Barreda Maintains Overall Lead, Despres Catches Up

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.
