Layered Fairing There s no mistaking the 2013 CBR1000RR, thanks to its Layered Fairing bodywork. Lean, mean, more aggressive from front to back, it s a real attention getter, even when it s standing still. BPF Front Suspension The CBR1000RR s front suspension uses a Big Piston Fork (BPF). Yamaha, Honda Donate to Thailand Flood Relief Efforts
Thu, 20 Oct 2011Honda and Yamaha announced relief aid for the people of Thailand affected by severe flooding that has swamped large parts of the country since late July. Yamaha and its Thai subsidiaries are donating a relief package worth about 30 million yen (US$390,000) including 3,000 life jackets. Yamaha is evaluating what items to provide including outboard motors.
Stoner Back on Top on Day 2 of MotoGP Test in Sepang
Wed, 01 Feb 2012Casey Stoner made his return to the track after missing the first day of the MotoGP pre-season test at Sepang and showed everyone why he deserved the #1 plate. After skipping the first day of the test due to back pain, Stoner was back on the Repsol Honda RC213V and set the top lap time of all riders. Stoner rode 29 laps and set the pace with a lap time of 2:00.895, 0.157 seconds faster than Ben Spies and 0.173 seconds ahead of Jorge Lorenzo.

We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.
