Lorenzo Wants to Race at Assen Despite Breaking Collarbone in Three Places

Jorge Lorenzo underwent two hours of surgery earlier this morning in Barcelona, Spain, to insert eight screws and a titanium plate to secure his fractured collarbone. By the afternoon, the Yamaha rider was back in the Netherlands to prove he is healthy enough to race in tomorrow’s TT Assen. The reigning MotoGP champion broke his collarbone in three places after high-siding in a wet practice session Thursday.

Bonhams Auctioning “Blur” Guitarist’s Motorcycles For Charity

Graham Coxon, British musician and lead guitarist for Blur, auctioning off seven of his personal motorcycles with proceeds benefitting NSPCC, the UK’s leading children’s charity. MotoGP Teams Complete First Sepang Pre-Season Test

Preparations for the 2014 MotoGP Championship are well underway, with the first pre-season test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit complete. As the first test of the year, we shouldn’t take too much stock into the results, but they do provide a basis for later comparison. Reigning World Champion Marc Marquez was the fastest rider on all three days of the Sepang test.
