Another //MH Customs// one of a kind build from frame up based on a CBR 600 F4i titled "Blade Runner" Gas tank was brushed bare and stained with acrylic paint and incased in clear coat for the future steam punk industrial look. Black/bronze enamel paint for the frame with lighter gold bronze for the engine casing and the forks. Ducati Panigale solo racing seat. Smoked out L.E.D. signal and stop/running lights. This bike is also chipped for higher performance. Also come with a racing speed shifter (no clutch needed on upshifts). Adjustable short shifter and short brake levers. Digital readout for temp/gas/oil/speed/odometer and traditional tach, signal and neutral lights. Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?
Tue, 30 Dec 2008A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
Isle of Man TT 2012: Sidecar TT 2 Results
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Dave Molyneux and passenger Patrick Farrance won the second Sidecar TT race to sweep the sidecar class in the 2012 Isle of Man TT. The duo won the first Sidecar TT race earlier in the week where they led every lap but this time Molyneux and Farrance had to mount a comeback on the final lap for the win. The Tim Reeves and Dan Sayle led after the opening lap on an LCR Honda sidecar with a time of 20:16.09, averaging 111.692 mph.
2013 Dakar Rally Route Announced
Thu, 22 Nov 2012The 2013 Dakar Rally will again be held in South America with event organizers announcing a new route for the 34th running of the off-road race. Now in its fifth year in Latin America, the 2013 edition of the Rally will feature a new route running from north to south, starting Jan. 5 in Lima, Peru, and ending Jan.
