Alright so the bike does have a lot of awesome stuff, but it also has some defects

The bike was layed down by the previous owner and has some slight road rash and he painted over it. Its on the bottom right side fairing.
The nose fairing also has some slight damage to it, see pictures.
It sat for awhile with the other owner and when I got it, it didnt start, now it runs great but could probably use a clean through the carbs eventually.

I am selling it because I am moving!

Thanks guys

People have been asking about the condition of the fairings. They are the original ones from 97 and there are some cracks where the bolts go but nothing too bad. There are scratches as you could expect so if anyone wants more pictures, let me know.

And like I said, title has 21k but the new rebuilt engine has 2k on it!

Will post more pictures up tomorrow

I also just cleaned the carbs out and they are spotless now! And there is also a brand new fuel petcock just installed. The tank is also about 6 months old.

Own A Scale Model Of The Elf5, One Of The Most Unique Racing Motorcycles Ever

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

If you’re a fan of scale model racing motorcycle kits, this 1/12 scale model of the Elf5 racer, as ridden by Ron Haslam in 1988, should make your mouth water. Designed by famous F1 designer André de Cortanze, the Elf5 was the culmination of a radical experiment by de Cortanze and Elf, the French petroleum giant. And even though it didn’t claim the racing success Cortanze and Elf had hoped, the experimental Elf motorcycles hold a distinctive place in motorcycle racing history, with some of its technology still in use today.  Powered by a Honda NSR500 V4 engine that served as a stressed member and main mounting structure for the single-sided swingarms both front and rear, this recently released scale model is based closely on the actual Elf5 racing machines. This full detailed kit maintains the single-sided suspension, with the front suspension consisting of aluminum alloy and springs that will be partly movable.

Two Flagstaff Residents To Ride Small Motorcycles Across Arizona For Charity

Thu, 24 Apr 2014

In June, Flagstaff residents Eva Rupert and Josh Remer will be riding vintage 100cc motorcycles across the state of Arizona to raise money for Blood:Water Mission, a Nashville non-profit that builds HIV/AIDS clinics and clean water wells in Africa. Both Josh and Eva are avid motorcyclists and wanted a way to use what they love to make a difference in the world. They see their ride as a more exciting version of a walk-a-thon.
