For sale is one 1972 Honda CL350 Cafe Racer. To be honest there is not much CL left on this bike, and it more closely resembles a CB. The front forks and wheel were replaced with those of a 1976 Honda CB360, which provides a hydraulic front disk brake instead of the stock cable operated drum. The engine is from a 1973 (I believe) CB350, but I have the original crank case included with the sale in case you would like to go back to matching numbers some time down the road. Bought this 550 from my brother-in-laws dad. It has been garage kept. Rebuilt the master cylinder and caliper. Replaced the plugs, points and condensers. Changed oil and filter. Electronically cleaned the fuel tank. Replaced carbs with rebuilt set; old set goes with bike. Still needs horn; doesn't work. Gas tank has scratches and chrome is pitted (see picture of wheels). Mufflers need replaced soon (see picture). Small break in fins on front left cylinder (see picture). Runs good; would take it anywhere. Good shape for its age. 1975 Honda CB 750 "Old Custom" 20,000 miles (1975)
This is an older custom job on a 1975 750. I bought this a short time ago because of the uniqueness of the bike. This was customized about 30 years ago. The gentleman that customized and owned it, recently passed away. I purchased it from his family. I was going to restore it, exactly the way it is but I'm just too busy and I won't have time for this one for quite awhile. I'll describe the bike the best that I can. It is an older restoration. The paint looks to be lacquer and the tank is beginning to crack. The tank shows some light scuffs and a couple of small dings. No major dents. The side cover have chips and cracks. The engine runs fine. The bike shows 20,000 plus miles. The starter button has been moved to a push button on the tree, opposite the key ignition. The chrome valve cover is in very good condition as is almost all of the chrome. The air box was replaced with velocity stacks. The headers are 4 into one but a little faded and with a dent or two. I found a baffle for the muffler, which quiets it down considerably. The clutch engages firmly. Both tires are newer.
