Honda CB description

Beautiful retro 2013 CB1100. Just don't ride it enough; too many bikes. Bike is registered/inspected good until December, 2016. Maintenance is up to date and tires have a lot of life. AGM battery is new with less than 300 miles on it. Bike comes with custom Corbin saddle (original saddle included), Honda luggage rack, risers, tank scratch guard, and oversize foam grips. Bike is ready to go anywhere. Bike is one of the last air cooled bikes sold and that makes it low maintenance. Is fuel injected and starts/idles and runs great. Absolutely no problems with the bike. Cosmetically, the bike is top notch.  I am going to remove the old windshield before letting go of the bike as I have owned it for almost 20 years and am attached to it.   The bike is non-ABS and the standard model.

I am pretty sure I am the second owner.  I bought it from a college guy who went to school in Austin and lived otherwise up near Dallas where I picked the bike up and have put the majority of the miles on the bike myself.

If you win the auction, a $300 deposit is due within 24 hours using PayPal.   Bike is available for local pickup.  If you fly into San Antonio, I can pick you up and you can ride home.  The bike is ready to ride across the country.  If you use a shipping company, I will be glad to be available but no pickup or title transfer will occur until complete payment terms are met.

Acceptable forms of payment: Cash is best! I will take your check but the check must clear before you are able to take the bike or I will sign over the title. I will also need your name, address and driver's license number prior to accepting a personal check. Wire-to-wire bank transfer is acceptable and the only form of payment I will accept for non-US buyers.  If you are local to the San Antonio area and want to use a local bank or cashier's check, I can accompany you to your bank and can accept the bank or cashier's check after it is issued while we are both there in order to verify funds are available and the bank or cashier's check is bona fide.   PLEASE don't bother ask if I will accept PayPal for the balance of payment or a money order; no exceptions please.

Please ask any questions early to ensure you an answer prior to the end of the auction.  Also, the bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction early if the bike sells locally.  I have a very reasonable reserve set but please don't ask what it is to be fair to all bidders.   This vehicle is sold as-is and doesn't have a current warranty.

WSBK: 2012 Brno Results

Mon, 23 Jul 2012

Marco Melandri bit a chunk off of Max Biaggi‘s World Superbike championship points lead by taking a pair of wins at Brno. The double was the first in Melandri’s career and the first for BMW. Biaggi, who arrived in the Czech Republic with four wins and nine podium finishes in ten previous races at Brno, was held off the podium this year, shrinking his lead in the championship to 21 points from 48.

WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.
