Honda CB tech info
Honda CB description
I have owned this bike from 1000 miles and have had many miles of great riding on it. It has been meticulously maintained, adult ridden, and garaged its entire life. A recent move means that I don’t have room for all of the toys, and I refuse to leave this one parked outside I have used it primarily for weekend touring in good weather, and as such it has only been ridden in the rain when I’ve been caught in it. It has never been down and has no bodywork damage. It is smooth, torquey, and reliable. All fluids have been recently serviced. It is ready to go for the season. |

2012 Honda Gold Wing Tour: Day 1
Tue, 17 May 2011The Honda Gold Wing is a veritable icon among touring motorcycles, offering an unrivaled blend of two-up luxury conveyance and a level of sporting prowess unheard of from a 900-pound bike. More than 640,000 have been sold since its introduction way back in 1975. The latest generation debuted in 2001, boasting an aluminum-framed chassis and stout and smooth six-cylinder engine that made it king of the long roads.
Get down on your knees and play
Thu, 09 Sep 2010This remarkable shot of Eddie Lawson is taken by Rich Chenet. It was August 1980 and Lawson was undergoing a titanic scrap for the AMA title with Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer here at Pocono Raceway in Philladelphia. The circuit is known as the 'Tricky Triangle' amongst the NASCAR drivers but the superbikes used a mix of infield and sections of the banked circuit.
Back in the day, the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba
Fri, 24 Jun 2011This ‘you tube’ gem sent to me recently brought back some funny memories from the scary but incredibly exciting days of 500cc two stroke racing. This particular race was the final round of the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba Circuit where I enjoyed a head to head battle with national hero Tadahiko Taira. Yamaha’s favourite son at the time, ‘tie wrap’ as we liked to call him, was taller and better looking than most Japanese riders (maybe a war baby?) and went on to win nearly everything in Japan during his career.
