Honda CB description

Excellent runner and easy starter.    I have had the bike since 1998 and just don't get to ride it enough.   It has new shocks and seals on the front in 2015 and a new front tire in 2014.   Fairing is complete, have two keys for the bike and fairing cover.   Its a classic bike but has so few miles that it can still be a reliable daily driver, or a chopper candidate.   Engine is a strong runner.

Has all the original parts except missing the left side cover and the instrument cowling is also broken.  The left exhaust is cracked where the pipe meets the muffler assembly.

Call me at 605-261-9638 and I will tell you more.   This bike has to go, so it has a low reserve, but you will have to transport it to wherever you are.

The bike is in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

2012 Honda VFR1200F Returns With Some New Features

Tue, 08 Nov 2011

When Honda first introduced the VFR1200F late in 2009, Editor Duke was an instant believer in the machine’s capabilities. It blurred the line between sportbike and tourer, and the addition of a true dual-clutch transmission that actually works was truly a surprise. Honda is bringing the VFR back for 2012, much to our pleasure, and thankfully the company has spent the past two years developing some subtle but significant changes to it.

Stoner Pulls Back, Skips Day 1 of Honda MotoGP Testing at Sepang

Tue, 31 Jan 2012

Reigning MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner pulled his back during his morning stretches leaving teammate Dani Pedrosa to fly the Repsol Honda colors on the first day of the MotoGP pre-season test at Mayalsia’s Sepang circuit. As Stoner received treatment for his back, Pedrosa put in 48 laps to lead all riders. Riding the Honda RC213V, Pedrosa’s best lap time was 2:02.003, making him second fastest on the day behind only Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo and his 2:01.657 time.
