Upgrades include from the front to rear DID high shouldered aluminum rims, new (2000 miles) Continental tires, new EBC brake pads, Progressive suspension fork spings(new seals and oil as well), LED headlight, Dime City Cycles gauges, Euro-bars handle bars, Biltwell grips, new brake master cylinder, motion pro throttle and all new cables, CB750F supersport tank (hard to find), new paint this May, 836 stroker engine, crane ignition, crane coils, high output wires, new EBC clutch, rebuilt and jetted carbs, UNI pod air filters, new sprockets and 530 o-ring chain conversion, new pegs front and rear, new CB750F style side covers, custom real leather seat and custom rear subframe, new custom build reservoir rear shocks (new RYC shocks were sent to be re-valved and sprung for the weight and handling of this bike), new LED tail light with built-in signals and custom plate bracket.  All upgrades were done this spring aside from the stroker engine kit and DID rims, those were done a couple years ago before I acquired the bike.   Any questions, call or text 440-319-0058

2014 LA Calendar Motorcycle Show Concourse d’ Elegance Report

The 2014 edition of the LA Calendar Motorcycle Show continued its now 23-year tradition as the premier outdoor streetbike event in America with producer photographer Jim Gianatsis moving the show this year to the beautiful green lawns of the Malibu Golf Course among the twisty canyon roads in the Santa Monica Mountains alongside the Pacific Ocean. Highlighting this year’s exciting activities was the emergence of another new and soon to be renown custom bike builder to the sport for which the Calendar Show is known for cultivating. Taking Best of Show in this year’s Calendar Bike Building Championship was Calin Senciac’s Imagine Vehicles International / ImagineVehicles.com motorsports fabrication shop with an incredible custom billet aluminum designed chassis built by Terry Ward and the shop crew, housing a legendary 1979 Honda CBX 1047cc air-cooled in-line 6-cylinder engine.

With the two test riders coming forward to act as replacement riders for the injured Rossi and Aoyama, it brought back memories of the days when the grid would be gifted with wildcard riders from the respective countries. The Japanese rounds were always attended by some of the top guys with experience of the 500GP and MotoGP bikes, through racing them in their domestic championships. What resulted was getting to witness the exciting and talented Japanese riders, and bring new riders to the attention of the teams.

EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda CBR300R Revealed at EICMA

The new Honda CBR300R already made its world premiere earlier this month at the 2013 CIMAMotor show in China, but the entry-level sportbike has now made its European debut at the 2013 EICMA show, with full details and specs released. Follow the rest of our 2013 EICMA show coverage Replacing the CBR250R in most western markets, the new CBR300R offers an extra 37cc in displacement and styling inspired from the CBR1000RR. As we previously reported, the 286cc engine was achieved by increasing the stroke of the 250′s engine by 8 mm to 63mm and keeping the bore at 76mm.
