Honda CB description

1972 Honda CB 350.  No reserve!!  Only 7500 miles.  Clear title, current license, runs, idles, shifts, and drives, but needs tune up - probably a carb clean.  Electric start does not work, but it kicks over every time.  Seat is nice, but has a small rip.  Otherwise everything is complete and original.  Tank is nice and straight, good paint - some nicks and scratches, but overall in good shape.  Inside is clean - appears to have been nicely coated with Red-Kote.  Tires are only a year or so old and have tons of tread.  All lights and turn signals work.  Horn does not work.

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

Bonhams’ annual fall auction, the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, at Stafford County Showground is scheduled for October 20, 2013. Included in the auction is the above pictured 1974 Kawasaki H1-RW 500cc triple. Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.

Wed, 21 Dec 2011

Veteran AMA racer Jake Zemke was on hand for the recent press intro for the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR. We asked Jake to go a couple of laps for us at Infineon Raceway with our GoPro camera to show us what it’s like to ride the CBR for someone used to pushing the bike to its limits. Check out the onboard video after the jump.

Rossi and Hayden Find Improvement but Disappointed with Results

Thu, 01 Mar 2012

The good news for Valentino Rossi is he managed to narrow the gap in lap times between his Ducati Desmosedici and Casey Stoner‘s Honda RC213V. The bad news is other riders improved more than he did. Rossi completed 57 laps and set a time of 2:01.550 on the third and final day of the second MotoGP test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit.
