Up for Sale is a 1972 Honda CB450 motorcycle. Clear title. All original. Only 3,431 Miles. Frame # CB450-5015780. Motor # CB450E-5015811.The Motorcycle was sitting since 2006. The Carburetors where cleaned. New spark Plugs. Fuel line. Battery, Gas tank Flushed. The motorcycle starts right up and runs strong. No Smoke or leaks. Front and rear brakes work as they should. Shifts through all the gears. All of the electronics do work. Only issue I've noticed is the electric start sometimes does not work, but starts up fine with the kick start. As Far as the condition goes it is very nice for its age but overall the chrome shows pitting, worst spot is the rear fender. Gas tank has a small ding on the right side( see picture).The paint is very nice, some small chips on the tank, one side cover has some rust spots in the paint. Overall a very nice example of a running and driving CB450. You receive what is pictured. Please see my other vintage motorcycles and parts. Honda Announces New 125cc Scooter Engine with Idle Stop
Mon, 26 Sep 2011Honda announced it is developing a new 125cc scooter engine with an idle stop system promising 25% better fuel economy than existing engines. The announcement comes alongside the announcement of a new 700cc engine which will be introduced with the Honda Integra scooter. The new engine will be introduced in a variety of scooter models around the world in 2012.
2013 Honda CBR250R Gets Repsol Edition
Tue, 04 Sep 2012American Honda announced a number of returning 2013 models with new color options but the most eye-catching of the new paint jobs is the Repsol-edition CBR250R. Dressed to resemble Casey Stoner‘s and Dani Pedrosa‘s Honda RC213V MotoGP race bikes, the 2013 Repsol edition Honda CBR250R sports the Spanish petroleum company’s orange with red and white colors, the Honda Racing Corporation logo and the “One Heart” motto of Honda’s Indonesian joint venture which also sponsors the MotoGP team. Completing the look are the Repsol-orange wheels.
Recall for 2008-2010 Honda ST1300
Mon, 18 Jul 2011Honda is recalling certain 2009-2010 ST1300 sport touring motorcycles due to a risk of a brake fluid leakage. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the pre-formed hose supplying fluid from the rear brake reservoir to the rear brake master cylinder is routed in a way that puts it at risk of damage. When the Honda ST1300 is heavily loaded and ridden over rough surfaces, the rear suspension may bottom out, causing the hose to contact the swingarm.
