Hodaka SL250 description

Super nice SL250 Hodaka NEW Seat,Tank, Rear Fender, new rear wheel rim and spokes, new chain, new handlebars that are off a 1967 Triumph 650, and in the picture there is a New Stock Front and Rear Fender. I have the Owners Manual and Illustrated Parts List book that's in better then mint condition, I have the Silencer for the pipe not shown here any where but it is very nice and I could send a picture. I have a clear title you can see it next to the parts book/owners manual in the picture. There is a good picture of the new rear rim and spokes. I have the stock seat, new fenders front and rear, stock gas tank which is super clean inside, cleanest I've ever seen. I was going to make a street rod out of it but health reasons have changed my plans. It has the original tool box, tool bag, and tools which is rare. I've not mounted the tail light yet you can put it high or low on the fender the wires are there. The gas tank looks a little crooked in the pictures because it's not bolted down yet. I found a new cylinder head on eBay real inexpensive and bought it, when I put it on the cylinder and piston looked great. The bike has been in Storage sense 1980 in till I bought it two years ago. I have the front turn signals but not the rear the bike is wired for them. I have receipts for $3800.00 in it. The bike has the original tires on it. There is a new top end gasket set complete you can see it in one of the picture's. I have the stock handlebars and air box, the carb was professionally rebuilt and has had no gas in it sense. I have a new side stand spring, the side stand is off the bike because it looks good but is in the picture. After I bought the bike a Ex Hodaka Dealer had some new things on line and I bought them all at a bundle price they all come with the bike. New Front and rear fenders, cylinder head, brake light switch, tool kit box, rear rim and spokes, top end gasket set, side stand spring, and rear brake shoes. The little red cover on the side of the motorcycle you see in the picture is the battery cover. The bike stand in the pictures does not go with the sale. Take a vacation to Historic Las Vegas Nevada and save on freight.  Scott 702 641 1988     The last four picture are of a 1968 CM91 Honda with a super rare Rally Kit the nicest one I've ever seen in pictures because this is the only one I've seen. The CM91 has new tires, is a one owner and is for sale..

A Different Bike Magazine

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
