This 2001 Road King Classic is in excellent condition. The bike has 45965 miles and the tires are almost brand new wide whitewall tires. The Road King Classic is styled like those of the past. With wired laced wheels and leather wrapped hard saddle bags this bike gets looks where ever they go. This bike has been mainly left stock with the exception of the Vance and Hines pipes with fishtails, custom grips, and the Live to Ride Ride to Live custom derby cover. The bike has the standard classic seat and leather bags and comes with the detachable windshield. There are a few light rust spots on the wheels that are very hard to see (couldn't get in photos). Other than that this bike does not look it's age. The Vivid Black paint still has a lot of shine left in it and the chrome really gives this bike a lot of sparkle. The bike sounds really good with the fish tail pipes. This will be a great bike to take down a nice long and winding road or for just getting about the town. Bike has gone thru a full service and maintenance inspection. Price is negotiable and outside financing can be offered. This bike comes with a 1 year, unlimited warranty that is included in the asking price. For an additional cost the term can be upgraded to a 2 year or 3 year warranty for extended coverage. The warranty covers engine, transmission, primary drive, drive axel, front and rear suspension, steering, brakes, electrical, gauges, fuel system and seals and gaskets. Taxes and Registration fees: Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered.
Title Information: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.
Shipping & Delivery:

2. Licensed Carriers are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom. All shipping arrangements are provided by A & J Performance Cycle as a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the shipper, not with A & J Performance Cycle.
3. The amount of time it takes for delivery is dependent on the carrier, but is generally 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the shipper for an Estimate Time of Arrival to be sure.
Finalizing your Purchase:
1. A & J Performance Cycle will contact the successful high bidder by e-mail after the auction closes.

In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.

It’s probably not conducive for sleeping in heavenly peace, but Harley-Davidson has released a Christmas-themed ad with the song “Silent Night” performed by the revving V-Twin engine of a Softail Breakout. Titled “The Sound of the Festive Season”, the ad spot was produced by U.K agency Big Communications for Harley-Davidson Europe Middle East and Africa. According to AdWeek, the ad was conceived, sold and produced in just 72 hours.

IT'S 35 YEARS since Evel Knievel attempted to jump 13 London buses at Wembley Stadium. Riding a heavy, slow Harley-Davidson XR750, the American daredevil had serious reservations about the jump, admitting the take-off ramp was too short, therefore limiting the bike's speed. But even though the plucky American knew his chances of pulling off the stunt were slim, he was reluctant to disappoint the 80,000-strong Wembley crowd.
